Research supports early intervention and treatment for children because it can lead to faster results therapeutically for young children.   If you have concerns about your child’s development it is always good to get a thorough developmental evaluation that can take a deep look into your child’s skills and abilities.  Occupational Therapy can help identify what may be getting in your child’s way of building those skills naturally and then develop a plan to help your child build those skills as quickly as possible.  From our experience, children who begin receiving therapy services in these younger years at the onset of concerns, make progress quickly and that progress is maintained well with minimal need for follow up care following dischage from our services.  As always, our occupational therapy services are child lead and play-based to ensure your child is motivated to participate and enjoys coming to therapy.
